Butterfly Kisses

This week Flutterby Wednesday is making cards for a non-profit group called Butterfly KissesI thought this pre-colored digi image called Butterfly Bunny from Clear Dollar Stamps was the perfect choice.   Love that it comes with a line image, a colored image, saying and even matching digi papers - what a deal!

Beyond Measure

This week's theme for the Digi Makeover Challenge by Paper Makeup Stamps is "For the Boys"  I have used the Color Kid Beyond Measure for my card.  He reminds me of my younger son who has just shot up 4 inches in the last 6 months - so hard to keep pants long enough for him with growth spurts like that!  And since this is a digi image, it was easy for me to flip it and have the boy measuring himself with his left hand for my lefty son.

I also thought the colors from the Party Time Tuesday Challenge #60 would be perfect for my boy card.  My son's favorite color is blue, so no other color would do for his shirt!  {grin}

Send A Smile 4 Kids

This week Flutterby Wednesday is fluttering with Send A Smile 4 Kids.  Please check out the FBW Blog for all the details.  We want you to create a card for a child with your butterfly, fairy or angel on it.

This week also honors my Flutterby team member Harriet Skelly in the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  She has an ah-may-zing gallery to browse through!  Click and see for yourself!  {wink}  I finally settled on this card to CASE of hers.

My card measures 4-1/4" square.  I liked the simple layers with the large image, the black & white ribbon and the bright yellow on Harriet's card.  So, I swapped out her flower for a butterfly and made it yellow.  I don't have polka-dotted ribbon (wish I did!), but I love this plaid ribbon I got from Pizzazz APlenty.   Then I added a sentiment that could be for any occasion, which makes it an easy, cheery card for a nurse to sign for a child in the hospital.  Here are the guidelines for Send A Smile 4 Kids if you'd like to donate your challenge card to them too.

A Sunny Disposition

This week at the Digi Makeover Challenge by Paper Makeup Stamps we want to see some Critters on your digi creations.

For my card I've used sweet ol' Sourpuss.  This cat and his expression just crack me up!  {giggle}  I sized him and the Cloudy Day saying large to fill up the space on the front of my card.  It's hard to tell in the photo, but there's just a bit of sparkle in each raindrop too.

Other Challenges Entered:
Crafting When We Can - #13 Animals
Catch the Bug -  Humor
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - #8 Feathers & Fur

Digi Stamps: Sourpuss and A Cloudy Day by Paper Makeup Stamps
Ink: Printer
Paper: Marigold Morning, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Neenah Solar White

Double Petals

Welcome to a Spring-Theme Blog Hop by Paper Makeup Stamps!   If you hopped here from Jenn's Blog, you're on the right path.  Otherwise you'll want to go to the beginning at the PMS Blog.  There are a couple of SWEET prizes being offered and lots of springy inspiration that you don't want to miss!  {wink}

And remember Paper Makeup Stamps' rubber clearance sale {75% off!) is still going strong as it switches over to a digi only company. Shop at the PMS Store and use the code CLOSEOUT75 in your cart.

When I think of spring, I think of flowers.  And if 12-petals are good, then 24-petals are even better!  I used the digi version of Color-It Summer and layered one 12-petal flower on top of another one, gave it a little twist and ta-da! - double petals.   Isn't that fun!?   They are colored with my clear spica glitter pen too - soooo shimmery in real life.

I also love that I can size digis BIG or small - I enlarged the Where Flowers Bloom sentiment to fit the width of my card.  Both the saying and flower centers were colored blue on my computer before printing.  And how great is it that I now have this saved and could print off more of them any time I want - eh?  {grin}

Now it's time to hop yourselves to Anita's Blog and see what delightful spring creation she has for you!

Fluttering into Spring

This week Flutterby Wednesday is celebrating the theme of Spring!  When you link your springtime creation on the FBW Blog, be sure to remember your butterfly, fairy or angel too!  {wink}

We also have a fun sponsor for the first Wednesday of the month - Robyn's Fetish.  I have used Heloise Garden Gal on my card. She's brightly colored for spring and has some fun punched shapes surrounding her too.  {grin}

Thanks for fluttering my way today!

Dandy Wishes CAS

Our theme at the Digi Makeover Challenge is Clean and Simple this week.  I thought the 3-flower dandelion image from Dandy Wishes fit the Fall-To-Layout #180 from Clean&Simple Stamping.

This time I used Word to re-color my dandelion silhouette from black to blue and I was able to re-size the digi image larger to fit the sketch.  I also sized the matching sentiment to fit the punch I wanted to use for my saying.  {grin}

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll be inspired to use digi images on some Clean and Simple creations this week!
