Thanks and Thanks
Flutterby Wednesday - #229 Lots of Layers
Digi Makeover Challenge - DM077 Stripes
SCS Sketch Challenge - SC425
Our Daily Bread - #144 Black & Cream
Crafty Catz - Dies & Punches
It seems I'm always in need of more thank you cards! I like this word art from Everyday Thanks at Paper Makeup Stamps. Because it's a digi image, I could give it a little shadow effect in Word before printing it on some designer paper by Fancy Pants from their Country Boutique collection. Actually, all the patterned paper on this card is from that same collection.
The Butterfly Border was cut with a C.C. Designs Cutter die. And of course I had to add lots of sparkle with some gems and my trusty stardust glitter pen!

Pete the Penguin
Have you met Pete the Penguin yet? He's part of the new release from Paper Makeup Stamps available in digi or rubber. I just love his long scarf and little heart tatoo. {grin} And his mug makes me want a cup of hot cocoa!
There is a lot more to see at the PMS Blog. Plenty of creations from the November Release and challenges you can play in with prizes to be won!

Fall Presents
This week we have some fall colors for the Digi Makeover Challenge at Paper Makeup Stamps. October is full of birthdays around here, so I used Lars' Presents on my card with the latest SCS Sketch Challenge.
Remember, if you create a card with a digi image and these colors, then link it at the PMS Blog, you'll be in the running for some free PMS digi images!

Monster of a Hop
Today Paper Makeup Stamps is having a Monster of a Hop featuring PMS monster images with creations from both fans and makeup artists. {See below for the full line-up of today's hop} And to further celebrate Katie's having a sale of 15% off all monsters for a week when you use the code "MONSTERHOP"
My card features BooBoo Monster. Looks like he's hurting pretty bad, doesn't it? Sure hope he feels better soon! {wink} I used this week's sketch from Splitcoaststampers and just stretched it into a long card. I'm also entering this card into SCS Hope You Can Cling To challenge "Real Men Wear Pink" to make a masculine card with some pink on it.

Moody for Summer
Actually, this Moody Girl is called Moody for Music, but doesn't she look great with these summery yellow papers? {wink} Paper Makeup Stamps is celebrating summer with a Blog Hop and links for all the Makeup Artists are below for your convenience.
I love coloring an image in monochromatic grays and then setting it off with a bright color. I've used papers from Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket and A Walk in the Park by Echo Park. The Kasiercraft Flowers and Opaline Pearls can be found in the PMS Store too! The sentiment is one of many from Little Moments.

Paper Makeup Stamps - Friday Freebie Cupcake Inspiration - #113
It's time for another Friday Freebie at Paper Makeup Stamps! I just love the combination of fonts in this word art. {grin} Be sure to stop by the blog or store and pick it up for yourself! Then we'd love to see what you create with it. You can add your creations to the Splitcoast Gallery with the keyword "Paper Makeup Stamps" or leave a link to your blog post in the comments on the PMS Blog.
For my card, I stretched the SCS sketch to fit a square instead of the standard quarter sheet size. I embossed the flower panel first, cut it into the sections for the sketch and added a different color to the raised part for each panel with my brayer. I tapped off the ink once each time for my Swirlie Bud flourishes in the background. And I love how well these colors and flowers go with this week's Cupcake Inspiration Photo. How anyone could eat such pretty cupcakes is beyond me! {LOL}
Don't forget that the Design Team Call for some new Makeup Artists ends tomorrow, June 4th! And be sure to look for our summer blog hop next Tuesday, June 7th.
Thanks for the visit and I wish you all the beary best!

JUGS with PMS
"Just Us Girls" - JUGS76 Color Challenge
SCS Sketch Challenge - SC324
How's that for a funny title?! {LOL} Paper Makeup Stamps (PMS) is sponsoring this week's challenge over at Just Us Girls (JUGS). Our mutual design team member, Lisa Kind, chose the colors Baja Breeze, Soft Sky, So Saffron and Pink Pirouette.
I am so ready for Spring to officially arrive tomorrow that I just had to use one of the flowers from the new set Springtime Solids on my card. And it's nearly impossible to see, but I filled in the white centers of every flower with a clear spica glitter pen - they are so shimmery in real life.
One lucky participant in the JUGS challenge will win a $20 gift certificate to the PMS Store. Be sure to check out their blog for the rules and some lovely sample creations by their design team. Then head on over to the PMS blog for more samples by the Makeup Artists!

Merci Cosette
Today we are hopping with the Makeup Artists for Paper Makeup Stamps January Release. You should have arrived here from Katie's blog, our oh-so-talented leader! If not, you'll want to start at the beginning on the PMS blog. Remember to collect letters along the way that will spell out a 15% discount code that you can use on the new release.
My card features the sweet Cosette fairy. {sigh} Isn't she lovely? I think of her as holding a cup of hot chocolate to warm her hands and tummy. And the best thing about coloring fairies is how well I can coordinate their outfits! {grin} I colored Cosette with prismacolor pencils and baby oil. The designer paper is from Kaisercraft Sakura Park sampler pack. I love the the red and black patterns in that set. The bit of textured paper and sentiment are from the Mon Cheri January kit.
The release party starts at 9pm EST tonight in the PMS Forum when the stamps go live in the PMS Store. We hope you'll join us for some fun chatter, games and prizes! Next stop is the ever-creative Shaela! And don't forget to take your letter with you before you go. {wink}

Check out this cute, but desperate, gingerbread man! Can you see the fear in his eyes? {LOL} I could not resist typing "Got Milk?" and printing it off my computer to go with him. {giggle} I know if I had a tall glass of cold milk, the rest of this gingerbread man would disappear quickly, KWIM? He's part of the new Christmas Cheer set illustrated by our very own Shaela Odd. Remember that Release Day is tomorrow, November 7th! We'll start with an all-day blog hop at 7am EST, followed the Release Party in the PMS forum from 9-11pm EST. Hope to see you there!
