SCS Free 4 All - F4A66 Freebies
Paper Makeup Stamps - Friday Freebie

Hurry on over to Paper Makeup Stamps and get this week's Friday Freebie Be Counted designed by fellow Makeup Artist Jami Bova

I wanted the white edges on my card to be all glittery, so I ran a quarter sheet of white cardstock through my xyron to cover it with adhesive.  Then I pressed on the yellow and purple panels to it and sprinkled the exposed edges with my favorite dazzling diamonds glitter.  I just *love* the sparkle!

But that wasn't enough, LOL!  I filled in the bars on the digi image with my saffron marker and then went over top of that with my clear stardust glitter pen.  And then I had to outline the nestie shape too, and color my star and fill in the little stars on the yellow panel.  Yep, lots of shimmer on this one!

As always, thanks for the visit and I wish you all the beary best!

Yellow Flowers

Flutterby Wednesday - FBW#155 Carly's Sketch (Optional)     Sketch by Carly - Sketch #31
Copic Creations - #50 Yellows                         Sentimental Sundays - #55 Handmade Flowers
Paper Sundaes - PSC49 Birthday                    Paper and Such - #1 Birthday
Stamping Vacation - Yellow Flower                Sweet Stamps - #15 Birthday
Paper Pretties - PWC154 Flowers                   Fab 'n' Funky - #73 Make Your Own Blooms

This week at Flutterby Wednesday we have an open challenge, just remember to use your butterfly, fairy or angel!  And there is an optional challenge to use the latest Sketch by Carly, as I have done for my card!  {grin}  Plus, Carly is offering some blog candy with her sketch this week, so be sure to link your card up there too!

I have used Moody for Flowers by Paper Makeup Stamps and one of the sayings from Celebration Sentiments.  She is colored with Copic Markers and I used yellows for her flowers to go with the Copic Creations challenge that PMS is sponsoring this month.  {wink}  I cut out my image with the Reverse Wonky Rectangles nestie, then cut off the bottom portion with the saying and slid it over to fit the sketch layout better.

I used the Snow Cap embossing folder by Sizzix for the texture panels and punched flowers that I clipped and crinkled a bit to give them a better petal look.  I like how my little blooms turned out and that fits another challenge that PMS is sponsoring starting today over at Fab 'n' Funky! {wink,wink}  And I love how the threaded ribbon matches the squares from the sketch.  {giggle}

Before you go, make sure you stop by my fellow fluttery team member Michelle McDaniel's blog and wish her a very happy birthday today!  {cheer!}  And after that check out the PMS blog for all the details on a Design Team Call and Friday Freebies

Blessings,

2) PMS is sponsoring not one, but two challenges this week!  First, Through the Craft Room Door to use any winged thing.  My winged things are the birds, of course.  Second, Copic Creations to use yellows.  Stay tuned for my yellow Copic Creations card - it's a work in progress right now!  {grin}

3) It's time to search for some new Makeup Artists!  That's right, Paper Makeup Stamps has just posted a design team call and you can go here to read all about it.

4) Wondering who won the gift certificate from the blog hop or the entire May Release from the sneak peeks?  Check out the PMS blog and scroll down for those announcements!  {wink}

For a Wonderful Niece

Flutterby Wednesday - FBW154 Anything but a Card
SCS Color Combo - CC271 Dusty Razzleberry Saffrons
Clear it Out - Ribbon/Trim
Tuesday Throwdown - #48 Die Cuts
Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog - #40 Happy Birthday

I am so excited to show you my project today!  I usually like to stay in my {comfort zone} and that's making cards.  But this week's Flutterby Wednesday challenge is to make anything BUT a card with a fairy, butterfly or angel.  I followed a tutorial on Splitcoast for making a Gable Box and totally {heart} how it turned out!  And it was even pretty easy to make!  {LOL}  For some more fluttery 3D creations, be sure to check out the links on my sidebar for the Flutterby Team!

Today is also a review day for Paper Makeup Stamps May Release and I am featuring one of the Beautiful Day Fairies named Natalie on my box.  She has been available as a digi stamp and is now released as a rubber stamp too.  I have colored her in my nieces' favorite colors for her upcoming 10th birthday and filled her box with these yummy chocolate hearts.  {grin}  And of course Natalie had to have red hair just like hers. With the Build a Sentiment set, I was even able to stamp a personalized tag for her gift.  Be sure to check out the PMS Blog for some more fabby creations by the Makeup Artists with the new stamps!

I'm so happy you dropped in for a visit today and I wish you all the beary best

A Better Place

It is time for Paper Makeup Stamps May Release Day and we are celebrating with a Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Shaela's fabulous blog.  If not, you need to start at the PMS Blog and collect the letters along the way.  That will get you the code for 15% off the new release stamps in the PMS Store, which will go live at 9pm EDT.

My card features the new Background Scenery stamp.  It's a decent size {3.5" square} and I love how easy it would be to split the scene and just use the fence or the mountain view.  I chose to use the full image on glossy paper and brayer over it with the Kaleidacolor Melon Melody ink pad. The sentiment is a previously released one that you can find here.  I just thought it matched the outdoor view so well.  {grin}

Before you go, make a note to join us tonight for the Release Party in the PMS Forum at 9pm EDT!  And if you haven't done so yet, leave a comment on all the Sneak Peek Posts on the PMS Blog for your chance to win the ENTIRE release!  The winner will be announced at the party tonight!

Now it's time to collect your letter from my mountain scene and hop on over to Dawn's sprouting blog!  I'm sure there's some gardening going on that you're really going to dig!

Blessed

It is time to show some sneak peeks for the next Paper Makeup Stamps release on May 7th! {grin}

Today we are featuring the Build a Sentiment set.  I'm getting a package ready to send to my brother who is deployed again in the Middle East, so I decided to make today's card for him.  I used the Willow Tree for my image because when we were children, we used to play at a park that had a little island and several willow trees growing on it.  One of our favorite things to do was hang on those willow tree vines and swing and swing.  Good memories.  {smile}

For the colored area, I masked off the tree section and sponged ink across it.  I just did some fun sponging cards like this at a stamp camp and couldn't wait to make some more!  I love the pop of color it gives a silhouette image.  {wink}

Thanks for the visit and be sure to check out what the other Makeup Artists have created for you on the PMS Blog too!

Sophie in the Country

You might need your sunglasses for this card!  It's a bit brighter than my normal fare. {LOL}   It's the first Wednesday of the month and that means Flutterby Wednesday has another incredible sponsor, The Paper Shelter.  I have used the image called Sophie in the Country on my card.  This week is everyone's favorite, an OPEN challenge ~ just remember to use a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card.

Then please join us in welcoming Cindy Haffner to the Flutterby Team and Amy Young as today's Guest Designer!
