Just My Style

The Digi Makeover Challenge by Paper Makeup Stamps has another "Anything Goes with a digi" theme this week.  Have some New Year's fun and come along and join us!

I've brought back this favorite card featuring Retail Therapy.  I just love how the paper-piecing and sparkle made this fun dress "pop".

Get Well Soup

The Digi Makeover Challenge at Paper Makeup Stamps has an "Anything Goes with a digi" theme for the next two weeks.   That makes it easy as pie, or soup in my case, to play along during the holidays!

I've brought back this favorite card featuring Color Kid with Soup and  Happy Get Well Note.  My boys have been run-down and sick an awful lot this month - and I'm so happy they are finally both well just in time for Christmas tomorrow!

Happy Holiday Colors

Party Time Tuesdays has an inspiration / color challenge that's just right for the last week before Christmas!

And be sure to greet the newly announced Party Planners when you stop by the PTT Blog to link up your creations!

My card features one of my favorite sets ever from sponsor Paper Makeup Stamps - Nature's Song.  It's a set that was only available in rubber and has sold out now.  But the good news is you can still get any rubber stamps that are left in inventory for 75% off with the voucher code CLOSEOUT75.

Don't forget to add the Party Time Tuesdays badge to your sidebar to be eligible for prizes and Top 3!

Warm Memories

Flutter by Wednesday is having open challenges all month long - anything goes as long as you have a butterfly or fairy somewhere on your creation!

I've been busy caring for a sick son and getting him to all his appts. - so I'm sharing a favorite card of mine from a few years ago.  This is Henry the Snow Angel Fairy from Paper Makeup Stamps.  I have many fond memories of making snow angels when I was a girl and love this sentiment stamp that I found at a local craft store by Great Impressions.

Great Things

Flutterby Wednesday  is going to have OPEN challenges all month long ~ just have a butterfly or fairy on your creation and you're good to go!  {wink}

For the first week of December we have a the extra bonus of a prize certificate for $10 offered by Di's Digi Downloads.

I used a butterfly die-cut to create a template that I could use to sponge a blue butterfly over my word art from the PMS set Dream Big. I edged the circle with sparkly, blue spica glitter pen.  My shimmery paper is from the Butterflies and Blossoms pad by DCWV.

My card also fits the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge going on at the Digi Makeover Challenge by Paper Makeup Stamps.  My 3-in-a-row go down the right side "Sparkle, Word Art, Designer Paper"

Punching Butterflies

At Flutter By Wednesday this week we want you to PUNCH IT!  Get out your punches and/or dies for your creations and don't forget to add a fairy or butterfly to your challenge too!

I used an American Girl Crafts Butterfly Border Punch for my kraft strips of paper, then layered a different bright color behind each one.  My sentiment is from Woodware's Garden Greetings set.

Thanks for fluttering by my blog today.  I always appreciate your visit.  {grin}  Now flutter on over to see all the clever ways the team used punches at Flutter By Wednesday!  Then link yours up for us to enjoy too!  {wink}

Warm Winter Wishes

Party Time Tuesdays has an Anything Goes Challenge this week!

My card features the digi Snowman Frame from sponsor Crafty Sentiments.  I colored it in Paint.net and then inserted it into a Word document where I could copy and paste it 3 times to get it the same size and all in a row.

The digi sentiment is from Snow Happy by Paper Makeup Stamps.  I again inserted it in the Word document, then copied, pasted and changed the color of the second one to make a shadow for my quote.

My favorite bit is the silver stickles outline!  {grin}

Christmas Snowflakes

Now that Thanksgiving is past, we are looking for Christmas or holiday projects at the Digi Makeover Challenge.

Here I created a background in Word with the snowflake from Color It Winter.  And it may be hard to tell, but the sentiment from Season's Greetings was layered on top digitally - again in Word.  That's one piece of white cardstock for the main panel.  I just printed, taped it to colored paper and added some bling.

Be sure to stop by the PMS blog for other Christmas inspiration and to enter your own holiday creation to this week's challenge!

FBW215 - Sketch

 We have another beautiful sketch by Kathy for this week's Flutterby Wednesday challenge.  Just make sure you have your butterfly or fairy on your creation when you play along!

I decided to feature some pretty paper from the Gabrielle collection by Bo Bunny.  All the panels are traced with a stardust glitter pen for some extra sparkle too.  Sentiment is from PTI Through the Trees.

Thanks for stopping by.  It's nice to create some cards again after Hurricane Sandy forced me to take a break for awhile. {grin}

Face the Sunshine

Paper Makeup Stamps is looking for Weather Reports over at the Digi Makeover Challenge this week!  My card features images from Jen's Sunshine.  I just replaced the sun's face with one of the word arts and paper pieced it.  I liked the layout from a previous Crazy4Challenges Sketch.  And my white gems were colored yellow with a copic marker to match the sun.  Papers are from Vintage Finds by Teresa Collins.

Winter Friends

Welcome back!  I'm so glad to see you because we have such a fun Flutter By Wednesday challenge for you!  This week, and this week only, it is Anything with Wings.  That's right - break out those birds, dragonflies, ladybugs, angels, dragons or even your fairies and butterflies still and play along with us.

To make things even more fun - Susana's Custom Art and Card Design (SCACD) is sponsoring us this week.  One lucky participant will win a $25 certificate towards items in the SCACD store.  {yay!}

My card features one of SCACD's exclusive stamps by Elisabeth Bell called Winter Friends.  I love to put birdseed out and watch the birds that come to feast.  I would be giddy beyond belief if I could feed one perched right in front of me like this.  {grin}

Trick or Treat

Here are some fun halloween colors and trick or treaters to inspire your creations at Party Time Tuesdays this week!  Remember to put the PTT badge in your sidebars to be eligible for prizes.  {wink}

I have used Frankenstein from The Stamping Boutique for this card's trick-or-treater!  That gorgeous Glitter Orange Crackle paper from The Robin's Nest was perfect for my large pumpkin, as well as the textured cardstock for my ground piece.  I printed my own saying on the computer for my tag.

Digi Silhouettes

The Digi Makeover Challenge is featuring silhouettes on their creations this week.  I have one of my favorite cards to share with you again today.  It is so easy to create your own silhouette image when you use a digi stamp.  I like to use Paint.net and the bucket tool to color in digi images. In this case, I just filled in the line drawing of the sailboat from Sailing By with a light gray color and adjusted the outline itself to a medium gray tone.  Now I've got a great silhouette background to highlight the Sailing Wordart placed over it!

Kraft Butterflies

Flutterby Wednesday wants to see some kraft paper in your creations this week with your fairies or butterflies. I took the 3 butterfly dies from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and arranged them on the piece of white cardstock to cut out the images and use the negative space on my card.  This allows the kraft cardstock behind the white layer to show through.  I like the different sized bling for the different sized butterflies.  {happy grin}  The sentiment is from the Pink by Design "Rock On" set.

Flower Coasters

This week at Party Time Tuesdays we are looking for anything but a card. I've had these acrylic coasters in my stash for a long time and they were the perfect size for the stamps I used from sponsor Flonz Stamps.  The background paper for each coaster is from sponsor The Robin's Nest.

Everyday Miracles

Flutterby Wednesday is looking for some pixie dust this week.  We want to see your creations sparkle and shine!  And don't forget to have a fairy or butterfly on there too.  {wink}

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is our generous sponsor today - one FBW challenge participant will win 3 digis of their choice from the SNSS store!   I have used a butterfly and sentiment from the digi set Everyday Miracles.  I printed the butterfly on pale pink cardstock and softly colored it in with colored pencils.  Then I ran the panel through my Xyron to cover it with adhesive before coating it with some dazzling diamonds glitter.  I just love that quick and easy trick to give a panel or border a sparkly coat!

It's a bit hard to see, but I also traced the word 'miracle' and it's frame with a clear stardust glitter pen.  I doodled a bit on the Authentique Lively DP with the glitter pen too.  And the 3 pink gems were my final sparkly touch!  {grin}

New Beginnings

This week's Flutterby Wednesday challenge is an OPEN one - just be sure to have your butterfly or fairy on your creation!  And go take a peek at all the lovely creations by the other designers ~ you'll be glad you did!

I have used a set called New Beginnings by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I love the matching NB Butterfly Die Set - way easier than fussy cutting!   The fun sketch is from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge SSS177.

I used the smallest butterfly stamp with a sparkly Frost Versamark ink to stamp a pattern on the gray background.  The large die-cut butterfly is filled in with a stardust glitter pen for extra sparkle there too.  {grin}  The designer papers are from the Basic Gray Ambrosia collection.

Thanks for fluttering by ~ your visits are always welcome!

I couldn't resist paper-piecing this cute bear!  The angled panel is a trimmed Banner Die Cut and I created the saying with the Sticker Fundamentals both also from The Good Life collection by Fancy Pants.
