Friendly Flower Circles

Splitcoast Limited Supply Challenge: Small Tall Card

This Friday Paper Makeup Stamps is hosting a color challenge of Olive, Navy and Mustard. Sometimes when I'm not sure how to combine colors, I find it best to keep them separate and distinct on my card. I stamped a flower from the Friendly Flowers set once in each color. After punching them out, I ran them through my little xyron to coat them with adhesive and dazzling diamonds glitter. I just love how they sparkle! {cheesy grin}

The ribbon was an extra piece found in my stash. I wish I had more of it wherever it came from b/c it matches the mustard color so perfectly. It's kind of hard to tell in the photo, but saying is stamped in navy ink and the green pearls match the olive flower. That way each color is touched twice on this card and balanced. Is that too OCD on my part? {chuckle}

The card is a small tall card measuring 3-1/2" x 6" (6x7 piece of paper folded in half). I did my snowman card in the previous post this size with a portrait direction and decided to try the same size here, but with a landscape direction instead. It's fun to change up card sizes now and then.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day! :)

The glitter is such a nice touch. Since I don't plan on getting a Sizzix, I'm thinking about trying this another way. I love new ideas, so thank you for sharing!
