Text Box Experiment
The last Tuesday of the month brings another "Anything Goes" challenge at Party Time Tuesdays. I have used this sweet Spring Amy 1 image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiment Designs for my card. I colored her first in Paint.net, then opened her up in Word and was able to re-color her into blue tones there based on how light or dark my original colors were. Hope that makes sense - I need to figure out how to take screen shots some day so I can show what I'm talking about. {wink}
Then I added a text box over her and typed in my sentiment. I was trying to make it look like she was holding a sign for the recipient of my card. What do you think? Neat thing is, I can change that text box to say any message I want and print it again for future cards. {grin}
As always, thanks for the visit! Hope you'll party with us at Party Time Tuesdays this week. Click here for all the sponsor info and here for the rules on how to play.

Today's Digi Makeover Challenge at Paper Makeup Stamps is one of my favorite color combos - and that is to use black & white and one other color. I've made lots of cards that fit this theme and brought back one of my favorites to show as a sample today. The Beautiful Day Fairy named Danni can be found in the PMS store very soon and I'll add the link as soon as she shows up! :)

Party Time Tuesdays #69
This week's theme at Party Time Tuesdays is Vintage or Shabby Chic. Not quite sure if I pulled off that look or not, but I tried. {grin} I've used an image from our sponsor The Stamping Boutique called Audrey the Farmer.

Recycled Accents
Time for another Digi Makeover Challenge at Paper Makeup Stamps. This week we are recycling items that would normally just end up in our trash bin and finding new life for them on our cards! I have 3 recycled bits on my card. My sun came from a kleenex box, my clouds are from a dryer sheet (did lots of laundry this weekend!) and my grass is from a big watermelon photo in a grocery store ad! Fun! Caliope with a Flower has been newly released as a digi in the PMS Store and I think Little Moments has to be one of the most versatile sentiment sets ever!

Seeing Purple
We have a very PURPLE color challenge for you at Party Time Tuesdays this week! I've used Girl Batter from our sponsor Kenny K on my card. Just changed her digi outline from black to purple in Paint.Net before printing, then outlined her with a lavender copic marker - really makes her pop, don't ya think?
And I couldn't resist using this great Word Art "Don't Let the Fear" from Paper Makeup Stamps - just seemed too perfect for the image. I also colored some of the words different shades of purple, again in Paint.Net.
Sketch is from Peachy Keen and the pretty floral strips that match the inspiration photo so well are from Basic Grey Euphoria papers. I've also edged the panels with purple stardust glitter pens to jazz it up just a bit more. {grin}
Thanks for taking a peek and hope you'll play along with us at Party Time Tuesdays!

Mum's the Word
Mum's the Word at Party Time Tuesdays - let's create a special card for Mom this week. My image is from sponsor Elisabeth Bell Designs called I Love You This Much! I've colored her with prismacolor pencils and followed the May Sketch Challenge from The Craft's Meow.

May Flowers and A Hop
It's Monday and the 7th, which means we have a new Digi Makeover Challenge and a Blog Hop for you from Paper Makeup Stamps! There's also new digis being released at PMS that you can see here - yay!
So, be sure to check out the beginning at the PMS Blog for a peek at the {new digis} and all the {prize details} for both the hop and the challenge. Then if you're hopping along, you should have arrived here from Katie's Blog. {wink}
I suppose my card looks more like summer flowers than May flowers now that I think about it. {giggle} Oh well, I'm just so excited Faith, Hope, Love is being released as a digi set! I love being able to flip and size digis so they don't all look the same scale and angle. I used Paint.net for saving flipped versions and then set up my scene with the png files in Word. I then used a brayer and post-it notes to create the sunny day effect like I learned from Michelle Zindorf's class.
Before you go, let me remind you that any rubber stamp inventory left in the PMS Store is on clearance for 75% off. Just use the code CLOSEOUT75 in your cart.
Okey-dokey - time to hippity-hop to Tangii's Blog and see what sweet flowers she has waiting for you!

Party Time Tuesdays #66
The theme this week at Party Time Tuesdays is "2 or more ribbons" and you can read about this month's sponsors here. I've used exactly 2 ribbons as borders on my blue panel. I was inspired to make a tent-topper card by Dawn Mercedes previous PTT Owl Card. The cute image is from Digi Stamp Characters and the sentiment from Pink by Design.
