Train Tracks
Did you know that June 12th is Machine Day? Because of that, Party Time Tuesdays is challenging you to make a Father's Day card using something mechanical on it. Here I have used the image Train Tracks by our sponsor The Stamping Boutique. I copied it 3 times on a page in Word to keep my images the same size. Then I colored each one differently, red, green and blue before printing. After that it was just a matter of cutting them out with 3 different sized circle nestabilities, sponging the edges in black ink for definition and stacking them up with some foam tape for dimension.
Designer papers, dew drops and the flourish rub-on are all from our month-long sponsor The Robin's Nest. I thought by using the cloud paper on it's side, it made the dark clouds look like puffs of smoke from the train engine.
As always, thanks for the visit and I hope you'll have time to party with our challenge this week at Party Time Tuesdays!

I really love how you have layered the image Michelle! Your card is just perfect for Father's Day and the challenge! xx
Beautiful layering. Card brings back memories of the old. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the sweet comments. Hugs
I love this card. I live with a bunch of train guys but when it comes to ideas for cards with them I'm at a bit of a loss. I love the way you used the train tracks and with a simple lay-out, but it works so well!
