We're kicking off the New Year at Flutterby Wednesday with a challenge of "In with the New". You can use something new on your creation or make it a "new" theme such as "new baby", "new house", etc. Don't forget to have a butterfly or fairy on your project too!
I must have been a very good girl last year b/c I got a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas! {yay! thanks Mom!} It's going to be so much fun learning how to use it. I found this darling butterfly card template in the Silhouette America on-line store and it's the very first thing I cut out with my new machine.
I ran the white panel through my xyron to cover it with adhesive. That made it super easy to stick behind the cut-out frame on the front of my card and then cover the rest in glitter for some lots of sparkly goodness!

Very pretty, pretty card. The glittery background is stunning. You are going to have lots of fun with your new toy -- it cuts so nicely -- even fine cuts. I'm looking forward to seeing more lovely creations (such as this one) from you in the days to come.
You already know that I love that cut file!! I love that you put glitter on the backing paper! I hope you enjoy the Cameo as much as I have so far!!

Wow! I am impressed with what the Silhouette can do in your capable hands. Creative sticking idea to hold the cutout and glitter in place. Looking forward to seeing what else you create. Love you lots! Mom
