Then for the last couple of weeks, I've just been enjoying my own family and the beautiful weather we've been having. We've gone for bike rides, walks, played lots of games, shared ice cream treats, told stories, watched movies. And the spring cleaning bug has hit me too. My husband and I went through our room and came out with 7 bags of clothes to be donated! Why were we hoarding stuff we weren't using for sooooo long! And what a liberating feeling! So now I've been going through the attic and giving away stuff from there. And I've even been going through my stacks and stacks of stamps and sharing sets with a couple teachers from my boys' school who are new to stamping. I have over 10 years worth of stuff with many old favorites just not seeing the light of day anymore. What joy to pass them on to new stampers!
Eagle Cam
And if you enjoy watching nature, here's an Eagle Cam link that my family has been checking a few times every day. There are two eaglets in the nest and we've seen them grow from tiny fluffy things to bigger fluffy things. {grin} They're moving around the nest a lot more now. We've seen both parents in the nest ripping up their catch and feeding the eaglets. One rainy day, it was touching to see my boys appreciate how the parent eagle sat over her babies and protected them while taking the brunt of the storm on herself.
Thanks for stopping by and listening to me ramble. I hope to start posting cards again this week and think I'll organize my first blog candy too as a way to celebrate my upcoming birthday. {wink}
Have a blessed day!

how fun! I was a Theatre major in college and have always loved plays. Looking forward to seeing what you'll be creating again :)
It sounds as if you've been up to lots of fun with your family. Kudos to you! :)
Btw, thank you for the lovely comments you left on my blog.

Way to go! I need to start going through clothes and books and toys and things again. I started on the kids' clothes this weekend. Maybe before you should make one more card before you give away those stamps! haha.
