Jen's Sunshine

Paper Makeup Stamps has a very special digi release today in honor of fellow team member Jennifer Scull called Jen's Sunshine.  It features 2 images (a new Beautiful Day Fairy and a Sun) and 3 new Word Art quotes.  All proceeds from the sale of this digi set will benefit Jen and her family.  Be sure to visit Jen's blog Just Coffee Please...& Stamps, & Ribbons, & Paper and leave her some love there.  Jen is such an inspiration as she continually looks for the sunny side of things in her battle against breast cancer.

For my card I actually flipped both the fairy and sun images before printing them - I love how easy it is to get a mirror image with digi stamps!  {grin}  I printed and colored the sun twice so I could pop-up the face of it for some depth.  The fairy is fussy cut and taped on the card-front for some dimension there too.  Of course her pink fairy wings are dusted with glitter - and I gave her a blue dress  b/c I seem to recall Jen liking the color blue.

Stay tuned for information on a Blog Hop for Jen on August 29th featuring Jen's Sunshine.  We will be looking for lots of participation from everyone who buys this charity set.  There will be extra fun and prizes too, of course!

Christmas Cheer

Party Time Tuesdays is celebrating Christmas in July this week!  This cute snowman image can be found at The Digi Garden.  I followed fabulous Sketch #61 over at Sketches by Carly for my layout.

My snowman sparkles because of Silver Glitter Liner from sponsor Viva Decor.  The brown  paper bag background and sequin strip are from our sponsor Creating is Fun.

Flower Fun

Party Time Tuesdays has a color/inspiration challenge this week.  I couldn't resist making Courtney with Flower from The Digi Garden into her own flower center.  :)

The dots of glitter surrounding her are Silver Glitter Liner from sponsor Viva Decor.  Love how thick it is and easy to make a pattern like that.  {grin}

The bit of lace and butterfly buttons are from sponsor Creating is Fun.

Drooling over Die-Cuts ~ and Ice Cream!

Tap, tap, tap ... anyone miss me out there? {lol} Sorry to have disappeared for a couple weeks. We took a fabulous vacation to Gettysburg, PA and Washington D.C. - my brain is swimming with info about soldiers, battlefields and past presidents now! Good times!

 Then after we returned home, our printer decided to stop working - ugh! As much as I love working with digis, one downside is you can't use them if your technology does not cooperate and you can't print them! Our new printer is officially installed and up and running as of today! This cute guy from the Happy Times digi set by The Paper Shelter was my first printing and it worked like a dream - {yay! plus huge sigh of relief}

Party Time Tuesdays is having a "Get Punchy with the Punches and Drool over Die Cuts" challenge this week.  I've used some of my favorite Spellbinders die-cuts - oval, diamond and a tab.  {grin}  His ice cream cone is coated with silver Glitter Liner from our sponsor Viva Decor.  And the jumbo tag and thick ribbon are from our other monthly sponsor Creating is Fun by Martha Pineda.

Thanks for coming by for a visit today!

Party Time Tuesdays #74

It's the last Tuesday of the month and that means Party Time Tuesdays is having one of their "Anything Goes' Challenges.  I've used Greenthumb Bear from one of this week's sponsors on my card.  I colored him in Paint.net, then changed him to grayscale and added the frame in Word.

All papers, rub-ons and dew drops are from our fabulous month-long sponsor The Robin's Nest.

Train Tracks

Did you know that June 12th is Machine Day?   Because of that, Party Time Tuesdays is challenging you to make a Father's Day card using something mechanical on it.  Here I have used the image Train Tracks by our sponsor The Stamping Boutique.  I copied it 3 times on a page in Word to keep my images the same size.  Then I colored each one differently, red, green and blue before printing.  After that it was just a matter of cutting them out with 3 different sized circle nestabilities, sponging the edges in black ink for definition and stacking them up with some foam tape for dimension.

Designer papers, dew drops and the flourish rub-on are all from our month-long sponsor The Robin's Nest.  I thought by using the cloud paper on it's side, it made the dark clouds look like puffs of smoke from the train engine.

As always, thanks for the visit and I hope you'll have time to party with our challenge this week at Party Time Tuesdays!
