Pretty Woman
Here's a card that I made for Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge. This week's movie is Pretty Woman and the card was to be paper-pieced. Paper-piecing is not something that I've done. I've actually avoided it because of all the cutting out. So, I decided to combine this with today's Ways to Use It Challenge on Splitcoast - Step Out of Your Box. Look at the close-up picture below - I cut out all those tiny flowers, the leg and the tub and pieced them on the pink circle. Is that crazy or what?! But it looks great, doesn't it? haha Then I decided to trace everything with my glitter pen to make the card dazzle even more, just as Julia Roberts dazzled everyone in the movie Pretty Woman. :) The stamps are from SU!'s retired sets called La-dee-da and Floral.
Thanks for looking and have a blessed day!

This is very pretty! I love the color combo - soft and feminine with the orange giving a bright colorful touch. Very nice.
Gorgeous work! Love the close-up shot so we can see it all!
Hi Michelle! This is a really pretty card! Great job with the paper piecing.

Very cute...great color combo!
This is great. I can't believe all the cutting you did her, totally fantastic. The close up of the glitter really shows the detail. Great card.

Enjoyed reading your post about how this card came to be. That's a lot of cutting -- but oh, so worth it -- as your card is dazzling.
