Daisy Silhouette
Flutterby Wednesday - FBW#145 Inspiration Photo
SCS Clean and Simple - Silhouette Card
This week we have an inspiration photo for our Flutterby Wednesday challenge to use with your butterfly, fairy or angel. Isn't that a gorgeous scene of daisies against the blue sky? It reminded me of the Stampin' Up! set Upsy Daisy. One of my son's teachers has been sick and in the hospital. I had her in mind as I made this card and I plan to send it to her today. I clear embossed the flowers on a piece of Sparkle Blanc cardstock, then brayered over them with my Blue Breeze Kaleidacolor ink pad. I {heart} how the sparkle shows through the ink giving me a glittery blue sky. I chose yellow for the butterflies and frame because of the yellow daisy centers in the photo. I used Solar Yellow Pearlescent paper that has a wonderful pearly sheen and gives such an elegant touch in a simple way. And finally, the sentiment is from Paper Makeup Stamps.
Thanks for fluttering by today and I hope you'll get inspired with us at Flutterby Wednesday this week!
