Flutterby Wednesday - FBW147 Open Challenge
Color Throwdown - CTD134
Kitchen Sink Stamps - 10MC12
This week Flutterby Wednesday is hosting an open challenge. Anything goes as long as you have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. I've been itching to ink up my Kitchen Sink Stamps and got my color recipe for these bluebonnets from a card by Lynn McAuley. Then I followed the 10 Minute Challenge layout for this card and I've discovered that I really need more acrylic blocks, haha! It takes time to keep switching stamps on the blocks when inking up all these layers. I love the depth you get with the finished image though! {grin} I confess that this 10 Minute card really took closer to 30 minutes.
The shimmery blue cardstock is Sparkle Abysse from Paper Temptress. I cut out a window with a Labels Ten Nestie and popped up the panel with dimensional tape. The small "thanks" is from one of the freebie stamps that you get with any KSS order.
Thanks for fluttering by today!
