Flutterby Wednesday #200
Here we are already at Flutterby Wednesday's 200th and last challenge. It's been a joy to work with Danni and her talented team these last 2 years! I'm really going to miss fluttering with them every Wednesday. {sniff, sniff}
Jen Shults has created a special Deconstructed Sketch for this week. I felt like I needed an inspiring quote for my last FBW card and decided upon Sing, Love, Dance from Paper Makeup Stamps. I colored some of the words pink in paint.net before printing. And I couldn't resist covering my big, pink butterfly with dazzling diamonds glitter for lots of sparkle. {grin}
I hope you'll flutter with us one last time and link up your sketchy card at Flutterby Wednesday where we all can admire it. {wink}

A New Party Planner
I have some fun news to share - I am now one of the Party Planners for Party Time Tuesdays! Thanks Jenn for having me on your team! There's lots going on at Party Time Tuesdays today that you'll want to see - the announcement of the new & returning team members, extra card samples from Feline Playful and a touching tribute to fellow Party Planner Jennifer Scull in her battle with breast cancer.
This week's challenge is "Anything Goes + Kraft". Be sure to check out all the challenge details and link up your creation on the PTT Blog.

I have used a digi image called Rosey Fun Time plus one of the tickets by Crafty Sentiments Designs on my card. I colored them in using Paint.Net. I also like how bright colors pop against a neutral kraft background.
And write this date down, b/c I usually do NOT think to decorate the inside of my cards. {lol} But I couldn't resist making a cute row of Rosey images with a couple of them flipped to have her hip cocked in the opposite direction. She looks kind of sassy, don't you think?
Thank you to Crafty Sentiments Designs, Kraft Outlet and Bugaboo Digi Stamps for sponsoring the PTT "Anything Goes + Kraft" Challenge this week.

Make a Wish
Time for another Digi Makeover Challenge at Paper Makeup Stamps and you're going to love how easy this one is - a Birthday theme! Don't forget to use a digi image on your birthday creation then link it up at the PMS Blog to be entered in our weekly digi giveaway! {wink} And check out some more birthday inspiration from the Digi Makeup Artists while your there too!
It so happens that my own birthday is later this week and I went ahead and used a few of my favorite things for today's card: CAS style, silhouette image (Dandy Wishes), bling (diamond for my birthstone of course), and turquoise blue.
Also - as an early birthday gift - I attended a couple of Michelle Zindorf brayer classes this weekend! {thud - I know, right?!} I'm still pinching myself that I got to meet her and make some gorgeous cards under her teaching. She's just so clever and fun! I did use my autographed brayer from her class to apply the blue inks to my background - very simple and straightforward for this card, but lovin' how it looks. {grin} Can't wait to have more time to practice what I've learned.

A Flutterby Case
As we approach the 200th Flutterby Wednesday Challenge next week, we want to CASE Danni's first ever Flutterby Wednesday card for Challenge 199. You can see her card to the left here. Isn't it pretty?!
I just love the purple and turquoise together, so I've colored my butterfly from My Favorite Things "Inspired by Butterflies" set similarly to hers. Since my butterfly is wider, I switched to a horizontal layout. And I fully intended to tilt it in the same direction as the purple mat, but by happy accident I set it down cocked in the opposite direction and liked it better that way! What do you think?
I used the MFT Die-namics Leafy Flourish to make a stencil and color in the background with a versamarker. And I thought my butterfly needed to completely sparkle, so the entire panel was run through my xyron and coated with dazzling diamonds glitter. Then, instead of 2 clips I put on two gem accents.
And finally Danni has an important announcement to make. Be sure to stop by her Flutterby Wednesday blog and read what she has to say.

Flutterby Wednesday with Sparkle
It's the first Wednesday of April which means Flutterby Wednesday has a sponsor - Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! Check out the FBW Blog for all the prize details. {wink} For the challenge itself it is an OPEN one - just remember to put a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation.
I have a confession - the card I tried creating for today's challenge suffered a coloring casualty. The more I tried to fix it, the more the colors bled together. {sigh} I finally decided I'll start fresh again tomorrow and show you a favorite Sparkle Creations card of mine from last year instead. It features Charlotte with a Rose and a sparkly butterfly - the very best kind don't you know?! {grin}
